8.8 into Rx2

I'm putting an 8.8 rear from a fox body mustang into my Rx2. I'm doing all the fab work myself. Since the car came factory with a 4-link I am going to use all the stock mounting points on the body. Except for the shocks and springs.

The only question I have is how do i know where to mount the coilovers? I'm guessing that I just level out the rear until the lower link is perfectly level?

I will be welding in a piece of tubing to the frame rails and mounting the coilovers closer to the pumpkin. Kinda like a tubbed car, but the car will be all stock chassis.

Also if anyone can reccomend a good set of coilovers for this project??? Any tips here would help a lot.

A good choice of rear end. Good gear and axle selections available. You may also want to contact Toms rear ends in Downey Ca. I am sure you have a good source of parts and chassis builders available to you on the East coast. Hal coilovers are good, also try Bickel race cars they sell coil overs. It is all how much your are willing to spend.
