Simon, that is true perfection. Your FD is fantastic but this takes the prize. I'm in love with REPUs and might have to give up the 3 rotor for one - seriously.

Just beautiful work. Congrats! Is your model a long bed? Is that what 7t7 means?

That truck turned out very nice, awesome job on the restoration. How did you like the drive yo to Chad's house? Can't wait to start on my 77 sp but it will have to wait till the 93 gets done. Keep up the good work that truck looks very nice man.

The drive up sucked ***! Drove up Saturday, spent the night in TN.....met w chad Sunday morning and then drove back to south fl. Got in really late but at least it was for a nice truck, my worst fear was that the truck was not as discribed. Thank god it was.

Thanks David, now u know why I missed dgrr. Busy working on my new toy. All the beds are the same length on the repu's but u are right the 77's cab is 4" longer.... So for us taller guys, the 4" helps.

Eventually this will get a NA 20B with ITB's but not now, funds are low. Plate means "seventy seven" REPU. Joe came up with it and I really liked it so I got the vanity plate. There is a really nice 77 REPU for sale in Bradenton fl for $6K. Look in craigslist.

No kids for me, just nephews but it will be the same. I won't say no, they can use it whenever they want. That's what it's for!

Thanks for the pictures and the detail work to her. A true California truck and hold on to that cali blue lic plate for her. Get that AC installed soon as im sure its hott.

Im still looking for the brand new tail light lenses I have some where squirreled away and will get them to you when I do.

Holla
Yeah I love the window vents. Since they were in the box I almost forgot about them but I know how you feel. I had the grille done the first week and it has been sitting in my office since. I would see it everyday. It was a huge milestone when I installed it!

This truck is awesome! I really like the outlined Rotary Power. Will this truck ever make it's way out here for Sevenstock? It's good to see SuperPro bushings put to good use

thanks.....probably never to seven stock but if you ever make it out to DGRR it will make it up there. on second thought, maybe not, the FD is sooooooo much fun at Deals Gap. SuperPro bushings feel great. went out for a nice cruise tonight.

Awesome build! If you don't mind, I may steal a few ideas for my truck, starting with the floormats. Why on earth didn't you post this build-up at mazdarepu.com? You should really transfer it over there so others know about the parts you ordered, what worked, what didn't work, etc.

there is a muffler shop right next to my house that has the mufflers built for his shop and he sells them as his mufflers. i have ordered some longer one's that are being made as we speak because the truck is way to loud above 4K RPM. i have to say, if i was 20 years old....the loudness of the exhaust would not bother me one bit.................i guess i am getting to old

yeah the going up part was not bad at all. the coming back sucked. i was tired from the the day before. i think the only thing that kept me going was the fact that i had the REPU strapped to the back of my truck

i will be back next year for DGRR

Thanks! I just ordered a set, as well as some patches from eBay (slightly different from yours though). The black mats won't match my orange interior but it will help keep it clean when I'm driving around town.

That's funny. My truck had the exact opposite problem. I was fine above 3,200 RPM but anything below that at cruising speeds was like having a 15" subwoofer blat out 60Hz in your ears non-stop. I eventually settled on 2.5" RB pre-silencer, 2.5" RB muffler, and an additional 2.5" sport muffler from my local shop. It's still louder than my stock Mazdaspeed6 but is pleasant once you hit cruising speeds.
