Something is wrong with the GSL-SE fuel pump or perhaps the tank pickup because it should easily hold fuel pressure on 6 port. I think the factory spec is something like 35 PSI static pressure (atmospheric at pressure nipple).
You have two FPRs? There's your problem. Either use the aftermarket, or use the factory. Not both.

The tank was badly clogged and the outlet tube was rusted. I bent a new larger size tube from bulk metal brake line tubing...dropped in through the top of the tank and it seems to flow well. If I determine that the tank is still the problem, i will be installing a fuel cell.
The gsl-se pump assembly had a pressure reg or pulsation dampener? at its outlet. I removed it and replaced it with just a normal fitting. This seemed to help with gradual acceleration, but stabbing the throttle still bogs it out.
The pump is new... but might just be too small for my application?
I've ordered the adapter to remove the FPR at the secondary fuel rail...should be here any day.
The primary fuel rail assembly is still stock, but seems to be working ok. My problem is above 4-5 k rpm.
The spec of 35psi is for a gsl-se or an s4? Are they different? If I go the fuel cell route, I will get a larger pump and regulate with the aftermarket FPR only.

I got the adj. FPR to check pressure from the tank, and try to isolate the issue, as long as its there, I can dump the stock one?
I'm really leaning toward the fuel cell. Hate to modify the car to that extent, but feels like the filthy, rusted stock tank is gonna be an ongoing annoyance.
Anybody had bad results with a fuel cell?
Pros/cons?
Looking at this one... similar in size to stock tank, and won't cover spare tire well, much.

I recently rescued this car from a guy in Houston it's in pretty bad shape. I'm currently in the process of bringing it back to some form of life it would be great to get in contact with the original poster of this thread I have a few questions about the car

How the car arrived at my house
The guy I purchased it from in Houston went with a holley/racingbeat intake manifold setup but never ran it everything looks brand new
Lots of surface rust in the trunk you can see the fuel cell setup brownrx5 put in for fuel injection

I cleaned it up and tried to turn the engine but unlike what the previous owner "assured" me the engine is straight locked up I put stuff in to loosen it up but it won't budge AT ALL so it's gotta go
