73 Rx2 brake booster/pedals identification w/pics

Hey, trying to work out a couple of things I'm trying to work out on my S2 73 rx2 coupe. It has been converted from auto to manual at some point. And I also think the brake booster is gone (pedal pushing to the floor/even after bleeding brakes etc), so I finally found a new/recon rx2 brake booster, but when I went to install it, found that while the booster I got has three bolts, the current one on the car has four bolts (from what I can work out the booster in there might be from a GLC? and maybe even the four bolt pedal box it's mated to). The pedal box is obviously also not right, the brake pedal sits far to close to the accelerator pedal for comfort. So my question is, did the rx2 ever come with a 4 bolt booster, and the one I ordered (and was told was rx2) is simply wrong? Or if I pull the current 4 bolt booster and pedal box out, should find the original 3 bolt one there? If so, I'd love to find another rx2 pedal box and swap this whole lot out. If anyone is able to check their rx2 coupe and see how it's configured that would be a huge help to try work out what I need.

Thanks in advance for any help, will attach some pics as well.

I think what you have is that they installed a pedal set from an rx3 which does in fact have three studs on the booster. The rx2 should have 4 studs on the booster. Hope this helps!
I may have an old rx2 booster or 2 but condition would be unknown due to being in storage for years. They would be fine for rebuilding i would think? let me know if i can help.
Good luck!

oh ok, thanks for your help 73x313b. The one in the car is actually a 4 bolt - but I think it might be the booster from a GLC (and has issues), and unsure as to what the pedal box is from. The confusion I think came when I ordered this new rx2 booster from here - https://tinyurl.com/h5pvx365 which came as a 3 bolt, I guess it's just wrongly advertised.

Would love to get these parts back to original rx2 though (rest of car is very original) so would love to chat about the rx2 boosters you have, will send you a pm, appreciated

If you have a power brake exchange near you, they rebuild Rx2 boosters. Done a few for me and grieving the San Jose, CA area.
