510 Conversion

Hey, i awhile ago that there was a 510 rotary swap on the page but i cant find it now...i was wondering if anyone had any info on the swap? i searched the net and i found a few things but i was wondering if anyone had any information on the electrical work on the swap? like ignition and such? let me know!..lets get a new thread going ...i'm in the process of putting a 12a into a 510, i got all the motors and cars and parts that i need i just need to fab up all the parts needed for the swap, right now i'm just getting information on the swap to make it easier Thanks!

use the DLIDFIS setup for your ignition. it's simple to wire up, uses no external sensors/computers/etc. from the host car and is very effective and efficient.

I installed it on my RX-2 that received a 12a swap from an '80 RX-7 and I've eliminated ALL the emissions stuff and ignition circuitry from the original car. It's incredibly simple now!

What is a DLIDFIS setup?...I looked it up so theres no need to explain it to me ....but what i meant was how did you wire it all up to the key igniton and such?
