4-Port 13B Intake Options

I've got a 4-port 13B from an RX-4 in my '79 Rx-7. The present intake is the stock 4bbl intake and carb. I'd like to convert to an aftermarket EFI system (MegaSquirt-DIY), and am wondering if anyone has tried adapting later 4-port intake from the turbo version? Can a later intake be modified to suit the old stud locations or vice versa? Do the ports match?

I may fabricate a lower intake from aluminum tubing, but would like to adapt existing hardware if possible. I'll be pulling the carb system off later in the fall, and could answer these questions myself at that time. In the meantime, if anyone has experience in this regard, I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks.

One option i have thought of is getting a IDA style manifold for a 4 port (easy to find) and getting a TWM TB..

The 3000 series is the one that would work..

But to answer your question, you can adapt it if you get/make an adapter plate.. I have seen these forsale on thepartstrader before.
