1st Gen Rx-7 Go Cart!?

well in a few years i will have an extra 12a and an auto tranny sitting around.
i was thinking to myself how easy it would be to get a 1st gen with a blown or no motor .

that **** up drop in the freshly rebuilt 12a custom exhaust strip it down to the fram and add a full race roll cage and get a helmet and go

would the roll cage be enough to hold the thing together if the body is stripped as far down as possible no doors no roof firewall dash and floor what do you say?
very rough idea and stupid at that but what else you gonna do with a rotory engine, you cant just toss it and for 100hp that thing aint too bad

I say would be easier to build a chassie for the 12a and by God, get a 5 speed for it.

Or litterally (sp) put it in the back of an actually go cart... centrifical 2speed clutch and call it a death trap.
