1974 REPU Garage find..

Found a random Craigslist add locally with no details or info so I decided to call. This is what I find..
few hours later I am now the proud owner of a 74 repu.... more pics to come

I'm jealous of the truck bed header - Was it repainted at some point as the drip rails are body colored.

yah it was.. must have been a long time ago since the yellow is faded.. once I bring it home I will wash and detail it then take care of the small rust spots..

Very nice find , the body looks really good . I noticed the Holley carb set up and it looks like the engine has been swapped for a later 13B ( from an FC maybe ? ). Might be a 6-port motor .....
Might find some more cool upgrades .

i am wondering what motor my self.. i am going to pull the intake on the weekend and find out.. bad new is the compression on the motor is 50/60 and i hope the seals are just stuck from sitting for so long and the engine is rebuildable..

Based on that center iron, looks like an S4 13BNA. Hope its rebuildable for you.

you are correct, i completely missed the obvious block off plate.. i hope its rebuildable as well..

i would have guessed an 84-85 SE engine. didn't the 2nd gens have a different oil fill tube?

If its a later 6 port engine, its a lot 86-88, if its a gsl-se engine, you can also fit early 4-port center irons which some early ones did come with top egr opening

Look at the center iron side, if it has motor mount studs tapping, its a 86-88, looking at it again, rotor housings look like second gen
