Last weekend's update from Andy (see pics below). Final panel alignment is supposed to be done by this Monday.

Decided to do a new aluminum oil pan. The other pan we made turned out good, but I was worried about the 4 qt capacity and being so shallow without baffling. Paranoia got the best of me. Finished modeling it in Solidworks. It should hold a little over 5 qts and will be fully baffled. I'm hoping the 3/8" flange will act similar to a stud girdle and help with motor flex. One final check, and things are ready for the CNC waterjet and plasma tables.

Much Props to you man, Love the project. This is probably the first time i gave anyone in any forum props for there work. As for a 15 seconds run.. i think not.

nice build should be looker when finished. since youre going to a new make and aluminum oilpan heres a few pics of the pan that we made. it holds 7.5 quarts has baffeling and i have a 1/2 windage tray that doubles as my motor mount.
