FL 1973 rx3 808 wagon build

Just picked up this 1973 Mazda 808 Wagon with 53K miles and no rust! The current intention is to convert it to and RX3, since it came with a 12a drivetrain from a FB and RX3 subframe loaded up in the back. Everything works in the car and have all the taken off bumper pieces in the back as well since they were smashed up pretty badly but fixable. Unsure of the final plans for it. The piston engine starts right up, doesn't idle perfect till it warms up a bit.

Any help would be appreciated with my old school RX members. Multiple items I want to address:

Suspension!!!! I drove the car around the block and it feels incredibly wayward. I want to first start by replacing all the bushing and possibly upgrade the front sway bar. I see PAC in Aus has a complete kit but I've gotten mixed messages as far as some bushing regarding the rear leaf springs due to being a wagon variant, any pointers on that?

Lowering the car would be a nice compliment with all new bushing looks like very limited options, BC Racing coilovers that need to be welded in place, seem to be the only real option. Unless you guys have other tricks.

Rear End/ Differential. Looking to keep the car a very close to original build so I dont want to rip out the rear end and throw in a 9" Ford right away, this is a cruiser I have a 1,000rwhp FD wrapping up if I need a speed fix. I see the 77-80 FB LSD rear pumpkin slides in and should be the best bet, any other suggestions?

Rear Brakes. Don't mind keeping drums out back, some Aussie forms stat RX4 drums are a massive upgrade some switch over to discs but the company seems to be shuttered. Any pointers or keep it original?

I run Techno Toy Tuning front suspension along with there coil over kit and camber plates. I also use 85 rx7 front spindles for the better brakes. For the rear Leafs, I had some mono leaf composite springs built by Flex-Form in Greenville SC. They work great and ride really well. They will build them to whatever specs you provide. Good luck!

Congrats! I’m running Ground Control Coilovers (same as T3) and T3 camber plates in front with Koni shocks and 2” lowering blocks in the rear on my coupe. I pillaged the coilovers and LSD rear end from an RX3 Wagon I ended up selling. I picked up a ‘76 808 Wagon recently that I’ll be doing the same to pretty soon.
