Got the problem fixed. Battery is charging and alternator is fine. The only thing is that one of the red lights on the instrument panel stays on. Besides that I have not had any other issue.

I am still in the process of breaking the engine in. Only 500 miles on the engine so far. Stereo system finished and now I am looking for seats. Any recommendations anyone? I am open for suggestions. The passenger seat is mint but the drivers seat has rips here and there.

very nice
you fix the ALT dash light indication with internal reg alternators using a change over relay to reverse the signal polarity
BTW
the colour you have looks remarkably like the original colour on my imported rx2
- i could never find the correct fiche with the colour code
( because it was import, and that colour only appeared in the euro charts i had, with no formulae )

when i tried to match it, i had to pick a toyo Colorado blue
( colour me red blue !!! LOL )

any hints to the code, name or formulae ?
( too late for me now as i have now picked a modern ford blue )
