YOUR GOING TO NEED TO CUT OFF THE FACTORY MOTOR MOUNTS ON THE COROLLA . THEN WELD THE RX7 MOUNTS FEATHER UP AND THEN MAKE A CUSTUM TRANNY MOUNT SOME WHAT OF A PAIN BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT

i have a 83, same chasis. ive been thinking about this also, but with a 13bt. do you have to cut and weld mounts? is there any way to fit it in there without doing that? i would like to put back the original later on

If you don't want to cut off the factory mounts, thats fine but you will have to modify the exouste system so that it clears the mounts
