13b-rew into 74 RX4?

Ok, so I am sure this has to have been covered somewhere, but I can't seem to find it...

I finally picked up my 74 RX4 but sold my FD. I am considering putting a 13b-rew into the 4 but was wondering how different the set-ups are. Obviously it's a 4 port carb vs 6 port twin turbo, but, from a mounting perspective, how different are they? Will the REW mount right in to where the current 13b sits?

If anyone can point me in the direction on this swap it would be greatly appreciated!

shouldn't be if it's a true REW. virtually all factory turbo blocks are 4 port.

you're just going to have to search and look at guys that have built Rx-4s with newer 13Bs. i've seen some guys keep it front mount and i've seen some do custom mounting setups. it comes down to what you (or whomever is doing the work) are capable of. the mounting issues don't stop at mounts themselves either. you will have to consider ignition triggers and oil pan fitment and clearances as well depending on what you choose.

Thanks for the input, guys. I am definitely between just doing a basic resto-mod with the carbed motor, but I really think a strong single turbo REW would be a TON of fun in the 4. Granted, new suspension, etc to make sure it hooks.
