13B Corolla Rotolla?? or RE86

Really thinking about a 13b J bridge in a 85-86 Corolla. I heard the car with 4ag motor is about 2200 lb. I think with some fiber glass panels and some lightening I can get it to weigh 2100s with a 13b in it. With the same motor in my 3 I ran 13.2 et. at 113 mph trap speed. My 3 weighed 2040 lb. so if I can get it to 2100s it would be a smoking Corolla. Just wondering if any one has done it or has heard of some on that has done it. From my undrstanding no one has done it before.

i disagree with you. up to 87, the corollas are all rear-wheel drive.. thats the GTS, SR-5 version. Front wheel drive didnt come until 88

Toyota E80

The Toyota Corolla E80 series was a "transition" generation including both FF and FR.

E80: Introduced 05.83 as Corolla (5th generation introducing FF) and Sprinter (in Japan)/Chevrolet Nova. The coupes (FR) came with 2 and 3 doors and were called Corolla Levin/Sprinter Trueno in Japan. In 10.84 came the Corolla Hatchback (Corolla FX in Japan).

E90: Introduced 05.87 with coupes now also FF.
