im also curious as to whether or not it is possible to convert a 13b that i would pull out of a s4 or s5 rx7 to a carburetor setup? if so, what all is needed to do this?
please bear with me guys, i know i have alot of noob questions but thats exactly what i am. and i really appreciate any info you guys can give.

If you are going to convert it, you'll need new intake, carburetor, and fuel pumps as some obvious pieces.

For a carbonated 13b you might have to dig back into the 70's because all the 13B's after that were injected. However the 12A is a more common carb find. I cant stress enough that going injected is always better, more horses and more fuel efficient. Converting my 12A to injection is high on my priority list.

LOL @ noobs who think the AE86 is the only RWD Corolla and that there's no carbureted 13B... As if the RX-7 was the first rotary vehicle. Hell. Some people don't even recognize RX-7s prior to the FC.
