1/2 of a 13b
I know, I know, I will probably get flamed for this one . I had this idea to put a rotary into a small front driver that has a short spot for the existing engine. Then it occured to me that it might be possible to build a single rotor 13b. So how about it, can this be done on the relatively cheap?.

Yep, that's the one. A friend of mine came up with one in CT. He even found an old guy who had worked on them and still had oem rebuild kits for the engines. My friend wanted to install the engine in a go kart. It would have been fun, but very loud. He did send me a vid when he got the engine running but never built the kart. Lost the vid with my last comp crash. Iirc, the engine was 654 cc, 1/2 of our 13Bs.
There's also been smaller versions of single rotors that were used for weed eaters and chain saws.

The car is small 1700 lbs but it is not a go cart.I was anticipating to still make over a hundred horse power with one rotor!.Otherwise there is no advatage to this.
