Does anyone know if a 09+ RX8 6 speed transmission will fit in a standard RX2 transmission tunnel? I know I can make the bell housing, mount, clutch and master cylinder work. I just don't want to cut the tunnel up..... Car is getting a fresh 13B NA Bridge port. Thanks

 

the s2 trans is a bit tight in the FC tunnel, I can tell you that. I dont know how much smaller it is in an rx2 but you may need to massage the floor with a mallet.

I have a 2004 rx8 tranny in my rx3... It is tight but fits great. Your 2009 tranny is a bit bigger i think but im thinking you can get it done without hacking it up....
