Yakima area...

Hey, stopping by to say hello and had a few questions. I am new to the site and to rotary engines. I have been a VW and Audi guy for years and wanted something different.

Anyways, I was wondering if there is any people from the Yakima area on here?

I was wondering if there are any trustworthy shops in the area or at least a place to get parts in a pinch?

I will be picking up the car (86 RX7 N/A) in a few weeks and would like to get an alarm and the windows tinted, what are the better shops in the area for both?

I've had a couple cars done at Hendo's (tint). Worked out fine and when one of them started to come off, they replaced it without problem (wrx). i've got a couple 7's, and can usually find used parts if you need them.
you missed the meet last saturday... too bad. check the CWR webpage for local stuff

Thanks for the info guys!

Good to see there is a group of people around that get together, is it just for the annual BBQ or do you guys have regular get togethers?

Hey i heard there is a good tint place in Grandview, he offers a lifetime warranty on all of his work.
i have been in this area for a while, and i wouldn't let anyone around here work on my car personally. just learn it and do it yourself..
Rob

BTW sorry i missed you this last time Dave, i was running late and didn't get to Jenkins till about 5 lol.

Thanks again guys for the info. Any planned get togethers before summer is over? I should have the car by the mid-end of September and would love to pick some brains.

I think I left at 3 or something, I went and checked out Chris's car.

If anyone wants to have a meet or something let me know! I dont think we do enough anyways lol.

Im trying to get a "Cars and Coffee" going every Saturday or Sunday morning for ALL car guys & girls but I am having trouble finding a location that will allow the use of parking lot space and also a coffee joint on the premisis.
