I am soon going to start on rebuilding my engine. im moving in a few weeks and will have a large work space and Would like to have someone that Knows there stuff about parts that are and are not within Spec! I Want to only do this once and do it right and i dont know **** about checking rotor housings and side irons for spec.. thanks adam

 

Also for side irons anyone hear of Useing a razor blade and a flash light behind it to show any uneven Serfaces????

 

generally for the side irons if your fingernail catches on it, its no good.

I believe the mazda spec is .03"

anything higher than that you will need to get the housings lapped
