How did you present your defence? What was the reason you won?

All I got to say is "F" the police! I can't stand a damn one of them. Even the judges nowadays are geeting just plain stupid! The officer (at least in WA) does not have to even show up to court when a ticket is contested. All the officer has to do is have a written staement! IMO the officer should have to be there as much as I am supposed to. I can't just write a statement and expect to have it used to defend myself! The reason I am so pissed off is because my wife got a ticket for "allegedly" not stopping for a pedestrian. The reason I say allegedly was because she was in the right hand lane, the pedestrian was on the left hand side and the pedestrian stepped out onto the crosswalk when my wife was already going through the crosswalk... On the opposite side of the road! Needless to say I am stopping by the police station after work today and am going to present a friendly complaint against the officer, and the department. What also makes me mad is I doubt any of the jaywalkers that day were ticketed (there was a farmer's market going on so there was people crossing the street regardless of crosswalk, cars, etc.). In most other countries cars have the right away... As they should, if you are dumb enough to walk out into the street with oncoming traffic, and assume they will stop, you deserve to be hit! Ice Cube was dead right "F*** THE POILCE". And in this case F*** the judge with his infinite wisdom and power?!

I'll be in the minority here, but damn people, if you broke the law, regardless if you think it's stupid, pay the damn ticket. If you were doing 50 in a 35, pay it. if you didn't have your seatbelt on, pay it. Quit bitchin' about being caught, stupid cops, blah, blah...step up to the plate and take responsibility for your actions. It's one thing to be upset that you got a ticket, but entirely another to bitch about cops in general.

Good job pasting and copying dick. My brother lives up in Anacortes, Wa so I fly up to see him once or twice a year. So yes I check out the NW section every once and a while to see if anything is going on when I might be up there. I'll gladly let you roll with yourself Ninjax7, but a stranger I'm not since I visit the area often, just tired of the crybabies that don't think they should be held responsible for their mistakes. But hey we live in America where people think they can do whatever they want and not be held accountable so go do whatever you want and I'll keep reading the sob/angry as hell stories since I know they'll continue til the end of time.

Benton...I must admit that I thought ninja's post was kinda funny. Especially the pic of the little kid. HA! I don't think he was telling you to go away literally just poking fun at the fact that you are almost all the way across the US.

I agree if you broke a law quite your bitchen'. You broke it it is only a matter of time before you get caught. Granted there are plenty of stupid law like Rmriggin's situation but that's why there is court.

That said keep up the speeding!

I must have took it the wrong way since I don't traffic this area as much as the SE section and don't know his personality (how he jokes around, etc.). My apologies if I did do that.

I've almost lost my license for the second time last year, too many speeding tickets. I know what I do is wrong and I accept the consequences, but it doesn't hurt to try and drop or lessen the fine every once in a while. Case in point I got a ticket last year for doing 135 in 50 zone when I was living in South Cali on my bike (fortunately I had out of state tags & drivers license at the time or I would have gone to jail that day), paid a ticket lawyer $500 to plead my case and was able to lessened the fine to $230 instead of $1,400. Let me tell you though it doesn't pay to have a lead foot, my insurance is $270 a month for my bike alone (full coverage), and $197 for my FD (liability), and $170 for my POS four banger truck (liability).

I finally bought a Valentine One radar detector, it's already paid for itself last week.

Everybody wants to be on the left lane, but no one wants to got fast.
