So, it was a hell of a find.... The guy talked it down sooo much i actually passed on it twice when i was looking to get it... Finally my wife told me she had to have it, and i couldnt pass her wanting a rotary, so i said i'll be there today, how much you want... He said 500.00... I did not figure i was going to get what i found when i went up there....

Its a 1987 T2, with S5 interior and lights. A black dragon kit (which he claimed to be a different, rarer one) NEW Apexi turbo back exhaust, NEW S5 T2 housing, and irons and turbo. A nice newerXS type-s bov, jdm fmic, magnacore plugs, rebuilt tranny, everything to swap my rebuilt T2 motor into it, aftermarket boost gauge,ect... Car has 106k miles on it and is cherry! a little dirty but a beauty... Everything works great, interior is immaculate besides a small crack in the idiot gauge plastic, has factory stock 2+2 rear seats..... KYB struts assemblys all around,ect.... a friggin score..

Was a bitch to get it though as they had taken the rims for a friend, and had no jack (thanks for the help chris!!) and i was usless as my back is OOOUUUUTTT! (three chiroprator visits this week and it "might be better" ugh... So the trip was long and painfull but well worth it! I am going to swap the motors when i can stand straigh up again and my wife will be on the road with a car that goes brap and psshh before me... and as jelous as i am, its sooooo hott

Yeah i am pretty stoked to have found it, it was way more than i thought it would be. It was in sunnyside WA, a kid who had no idea what he had. (i think daddy bought it for him as daddy was the title holder and the one who got the money ) They didnt know ANYTHING about rotarys..

And yes the wing is retarded, but my wife loves everything about it.

motor is out of the car atm, so technically no, but its got a FRESH S5 motor with new housings, irons and rotors, and a S4 Atkins built T2 motor thats going in as soon as i can bend my spine more than an inch :\

And i agree that the body kit is somthing off, but hey its the wifes choice to leave it or change it and she loves it (who am i to bicht about her wanting a FC ).... I am going to get my own shell here soon and do the RHD conversion to it and then we'll each have a FC, ah the meets will be fun!

Out in the country.... However the kid who sold it to us was able to do some nice 2am time trials from his house on 15th st to the middle of nowhere, as he forgot the lug key, then the key to the car, then bla bla bla..

It is kinda halarious that i have a "half fast & furious, Half Grand Thieft Auto" car sitting in my driveway.. The ******* wing, and the fact that my wife likes it makes me giggle so hard at least three times a day (everytime i head out for a cig i get a good laugh)

got som rims for the t2 today.... 40.00!!!!! with good kumho's! Its still dirty as all hell ,. i know epic fail.. But i went to seabeck last night, and drove till morning comming back then had to mow and wee wack three and a half acres and pack and ship things as well as take care of (2) kids all day... Man i am jelous of marc and aaron and they things they got done, i wish i had more seven time!

Anyway, it looks good man - but I do agree with Joel... hopefully after a week of driving it she will want the stock body back. :p

OH! And I think sometime next week we will be looking at driving the GTU down to your shop. If you want to come and take away the black shell, you can at any time essentially, the engine still needs to come out of it - but it would be a good thing to get it off the lawn I guess sometime soonish.

sounds good, the shop is ready when you are. I might be able to come and get it next week somtime, if your in a rush i can figure out when i can get up there next week.. Hey i was thinkin if you want i can take care of supplies if you want to remburse uhaul rental for the trailer. It would be about even or a little more on my end, but i already have all the supplies and im not using them so no biggy here (unless you know someone who has a trailer i can barrow for the day??)

And i actually had installer67 help me with a rims search and we stumbled on these in the seattle area, so when i brought him the SE parts i picked them up. (thanks again ray!). What a score they were... Not what she wants but they will work great till she gets what she's wanting!

I have to go to my wifes parents house this weekend I have been watching the wifes, sisters kid this week and i am taking him back and going to help them on the ranch some (ugh).... I should be back first thing monday morning though, and we can figure out an exact date then... I may be heading down to medford this week though, but i am not sure which day yet.... I am so ready to not be driving 600 miles every other day..lol.. I bought the suburban with 32k miles on it one year ago and i TRY to only drive it for road trips, yet i have hit the 100K mark already :\ dammit!
