Where to buy?

I'm looking for an SA, I don't care too much about anything except that it has a 4 or 5 speed manual transmission. I've found a 1979 local, but it needs too much work, there's enough mold int he gas tank that you could fill a drum with penacillin from it.

I'm located in Southern Oregon, and I'd rather not have to pick something up that's too far away. I also don't want too much work, as my current daily driver is exibiting signs of dieing sooner or later.

Other than an SA or FB/FC, I have been looking into a turbo brick (1980's), or an older porsche. I'd rather stay away from the porsche because they are a little too money intensive for my taste. :p Anyone have suggestions where to find a decent car?

if you are looking for a well running motor, dont do it... atkins now has a branded name for bad motors, or maybe its just when they rebuild them... hmm

Pretty much what I want, minus dropping it. I'd put a bigger turbo on it and increase the power without changing how it looks. Also, going to put CLOTH SEATS in it. not to mention, the seats it has are torn and need replacing. Probably end up using it for camping trips and such, add a trailer hitch and maybe use it to shuttle quads too.

Now I'm having trouble finding a shop that isn't a 7-9 hour drive away from me. Anyone know of a good shop in Southern Oregon? I don't care if the specialize or not, I just don't have the right tools to do suspension swaps or anything like that.
