well i got back into town last night. SEMA was awsome and im glad i went the weather was low to mid 70's during the day and low 60's at night and clear blue skys the whole time. So it was great to come home to this ****. Saw lots of new stuff and awsome cars 3 enzo's and other dancing donkeys , 5-6 RR phantoms, a bunch of lambos, 2 slr mclaren, A lot of bentlys. 1 zonda C12. and thats just a little bit of the cars there. Also talked to a honda R&D guy in are hotel hall way about the honda V-8's they had on display and when i asked him if he's ever played with those he said no but he has gone to japan and seen the V10 going into the next NSX and he said that the rumors where true. there getting 500HP and that the engine had been detuned for emissions. I will see if i can get some pictures up soon. But in conclusion i say SEMA kicks *** and Las Vegas kicks ***.

Well, I'm back too. Weather was great...not too warm in the day and not too cool in the evening. Waaaaaay too much walking. Made some good contacts, though mostly those were at the APEX Convention, which is the lesser-known, manufacturing oriented tradeshow held at the Sands Convention Center, about a mile from the proper SEMA Show at the LVCC. They are both held by SEMA but the "SEMA Show" is mostly glitz-and-glam and overrun by gawkers whereas the APEX show is all business.
Spent a great deal of time hanging out with Paul Stary, the owner of Virtual GT racing simulators, along with many other racing-types (David Canitz of Royal Purple, who races in GT3 and Mike [forgot his last name], who races a vintage GTP and Paul Eklund, a rally driver from Primitive Racing). Very nice simulator package...if you have $20K to spend. Everyone agreed it's cheaper than racing, however.
Apart from the show, I didn't do too much. Watched a little mud wrestling while hanging out at Gilley's with friends, bar hopped up and down the strip, ate a nice Fillet at Morton's, and did the "Big Shot" ride at the Stratosphere. I think I gambled all of $1 in quarters, which is about my usual limit. Vegas is fun for 48 hours and then it gets tedious. Plus, as usuall, I came home with a bad cold...something about being in close contact with 100,000 people from all over the world.

Blake did you see the West Coast customs Blue mustang in the Ford area it looked nice from like 10 feet away but once you got close the mold job on the widebody was terrible i would think that a shop with that big of a name would do better work.

You mean a big name like Unique whips! when all they can do is tint windows and bolt on wheels... The mtv generation gets the wool pulled over there eye's way too easy... Its like all you have to do to be cool is say that you're cool and do nothing to back it up...
This country is going crazy.
