Two questions...
Ok my first question is:
What is my turbo doing?? When i hit 3500 rpm's it hear a belt screaching sound almost like metal grinding.. Is the turbo toast?
And second, i got this 87 turbo and it came with this wiring set up thing.. (see picture)... What is it?? Is it missing parts?
Thanks!

not too familiar with setups like that but looks simlar to a neo. neo uses an lcd display to change fuel air mixture. thats what that seems to be. might be a thing u can plug right into ur emissions harness and adjust ur fuel/air mixture. might be missing the brain.

Looks like what you have there is an old fuel controller for the HKS F-CON Piggyback ecu system. They had these before the GCC they came out with as an upgrade to this system.
Also that sound you hear coming from the turbo could be the chra bearings in the turbo. might want to check oil pressures and such.

Yes. It is a piggyback system for your Engine Control Unit. Its main purpose is to manage the fuel settings for upgraded exhaust, intakes, injectors, turbo, or manifolds and such. Depending on what year your RX-7 is it should have a few things with it. The main unit that is the same shape and size of the ECU, a Fuel Cut Defencer, a map sensor, and a control device. If you do have this system and plan on using it I highly recommend monitoring air/fuel ratios via a wideband o2 sensor.

Oh awesome! So, i just need to find the main unit, a Fuel Cut Defencer, a map sensor and a wideband? I know where to get a wideband, however i do not know where to find the rest, anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
After doing some google searching, i am wondering if i can use a rtek system with this? I have been told its the best, cheap, way to upgrade the fuel management system.
