Yeah. I've had coolant seal problems since December 2005. But since I rarely drive the car it's not an issue. That's why I seldom bring out the car, only for large events (and it's not licensed)

anywho i would really like to come to the meet im only about 20 min south of the taco place if that (not 100% shure where its at) I just started my car up for the 1st time with an atkins rebiuld w/ 3mm apex seals and a street port heres a link to some pics of my ride what do u guys think.

Now the things keeping me from going to the meet are emissions i have no tabs or even licens plate But the people at the DOL tell me that I can have a 3 day pass and drive it around and ill have to toss some inshurance on the car than im hoping ill be good to go. I need to figure out how im going to pass emissions i have a full racing beat exhust system.

However I have had super bad luck with rotarys braking down on me this is my 3erd t2 the last 2 had the same motor in it and i was towed home more than 10 X's with them. This new motor seems to run smooth tho. Hmmm i dont realy want to drive my t2 out by my self incase it dies going down the road in traffic. Is there anyone local that would be willing to like follow me out and back to make shure my car makes it and knows the s4 t2 engine reallay super well?

and how many people are going to be at the meet lets see if its even worth me coming out lets get a count.

 

hey chrisw80, heres a couple answers to your questions

A) your new motor looks BEASTLY
B) a couple of the guys aren't anywhere street legal, including me and...uh...everyone.
C) we own 7's...we know...they break down, wouldn't be a rotary meet if one didn't break down (in the words of grae)
D) we don't leave people behind....well at least not forever, we come back and get them (haha will)
E) it is always worth it to come to the meet, cuz even if u don't like the turnout, cars, and people......Del Taco alone is worth it
