WA Taco7. Do we want to change it's location?

Do we want to move the meet somewhere else?
Not everyone loves taco's i guess, and maybe more people will show if we move.
I was thinking about having to meet be in the crossings right across the street, theres a Mcdonalds, jimmy macs, quiznos, the rock pizza. So theres more food to choose from, what does everybody think?

We've tried it before. We used to go to the Rock during the winter, and we tried a sushi meet there one time and had a good turnout. Problem is that it's really hard to get a group of parking spaces together, and also the food is more expensive. Besides, Del Taco has burgers, chili fries, etc., and there's a KFC right by it. So I guess I vote no unless we can get a bunch more people out that way.

I might be back for Thanksgiving, so if we do a meet next month (yeah, Black Friday, I know), I'll try to show up. Same with December.

I'm open to discussion, up north more/eastside is best for me (Renton) but being in Federal Way it was nice to see some people from Izzy's meet come by. I'm crazy busy right now, plus family... I make them when I can.

I think they just might be too frequent... Now Im not saying it isnt fun but it does get old and I think the izzys meet just went thru this a while ago.

Im all for the meets but if there were more space in-between meets I think more people would make time to go to them. I work a rotating shift so I cant make it to a lot of em anyways.

just my 2 cents

If possible incorporate some cruises or push your friends to bring there cool whips out. I went to the 8/6 meet and had a good time, there was also a great turn out(not all AEs but some cool Toyotas). Hell I tried to get my bud to bring out his ae86 to the last Taco7 meet just to see some tight sevens.

ALSO on a side note WHY DO WE NOT HAVE A 7/7 MEET?!?!?! I know I saw a 7/7 post saying go drive/work on/wash your rx7 today but WTF. We need a rotard meet for everyone to come out and have a good time.

Rant over. Thread prolly derailed. Sorry...

I dont think once a month is too frequent, and i was not thinking of moving it far, just around the same area if there was a better place people agreed on?

Federal Way is pretty much right in the middle for most of us. I don't see moving the meet any farther south when half the people are coming from Tacoma and the other half are coming from Seattle/Kent and Renton.

I didnt want to move the meet anywhere far, im talking about within a mile of where it is, just a different place, maybe with more room to park and hang out or different food or a bigger variety of it.

I would personally like to see it moved out of Federal Way. The south end guys already have the Izzys meets. Federal Way is still south. Move it to Renton or the Eastside. I never make these because of timing and Federal way being far south, and Olympia being REALLY far south.

I was only kidding about the Lakewood bit guys. Trying to add some comic relief to this serious conversation

Anyways Federal way is a good median, Perhaps Kent would be a little closer to you fellows up North. though.

Kent sounds good if it makes meeting up easier for the northern guys. Its really not much further than federal way, plus ryan and matt can make it to meets again.......yay!

Kent is definitely better. But having grown up in Kent, car meets can be heavily frowned upon by the authorities. So lets all meet up Friday night at the Cheveron on 180th to avoid any problems.... kidding.

But seriously I'm open to ideas.

Well, wherever it ends up being, I'll be there. Kent is practically next door to me, but as hornbm says, I'm not sure we could get away with having a meet there on a Friday night.
