ANNNyway............ its only getting colder gang, which means yes time to put the taco7 event in hibernation, or just find a warm place to relax.. or a big heated wherehouse for us to kick it in... but since thats not gonna happen, lets find a better cozier, more liquor filled environ. Hmmmm?

Sounds like it was a fun event. Beating z's is always a good time and that cold air gives those turbos like another 30 hp.

So what's all this talk of hibernation? Come on, we know how to drive in the rain. I might have to speed up my knitting and put together some hats for you all so you dont get too cold

However, I wouldn't object to moving maybe across the street to the Rock, they have great beers on tap.

 

I suggest we design and build a rotor shaped building to house a bar with heaters where we can all chill... And also get those nice propane heaters for outdoors between the stalls to keep us warm. It's not the rain that bothers me... It's these damn less than 70 degree temps!!

 

 

Why not move it to the last Saturday of the month in the afternoon so it's still light? That would work for these winter months.

well i was a few blocks away and my car broke down (really the harness fell against the turbo and melt the wires together so my ecu didnt know what to do) and none of my friends that were there seemed to care didnt bother to call and check on me or anything i called and asked to see if they could see if anyone had a flash light there or anything and my friend said eather they didnt have one or they ignored him, so i ended up stuck by myself freezing cold with no one to help but finally my room mate came up and put the head lights on the engine bay and i was able to pull the wires apart and rewire them and get my car running fine (few hours later) but right before my room mate got there i called my buddy to see if he could at least drop me off a cig and he says "oh we are already back in tacoma" whoa some friends, yeah i dont think im going to bother going to many more meets unless its with my friends like Tim

 

so were movin to the rock now huh? haha, well the parking right IN front of the rock brewery is horrible and its packed, but i guess we can manage. had a car get together there before and the cops made us shuffle out...so....well w/e if we make it a rocko7 or a taco7, doesn't really matter to me.

damn dude thats fucked up. wish i'd have heard about it when i was there but i was only there for a few minutes and didnt hear anything about it. i've got a flashlight and a tool set at all times

Erik.. hey man, im really sorry that no one helped you out... im unfamiliar with the situation, as in- i never heard about what was going down, but that really sucks none the less... who ever these "friends" are that ignored you should really be ashamed of themselves. The spirit of this meet was to make friends and share good conversation and food. What happened to you is the complete opposite of what it means to build a community of friends. Im sorry that it happened, i hope you still come to the next meet, in spite of your let down... havent seen you since dougs!
