Wow you're an FD magnet... not surprisingly MOST FD owners here in WA are not forum members =) They are too old to fit in lol

Did it have Blitz Wheels? I saw one in Mukilteo that was silver with Blitz Technospeeds. It was nice! I am partial to the rims though.....

Ive seen that silver FD a while back. Only one Ive seen in silver.

Tim, wtf is "they are too old to fit in". Dude.... Are you on crack? Ive got twin sons that are 2 months older than you, so Im old enough to be you dad. Regardless of the age of another owner, I can appreciate their interest in rotary engines and their fondness of the rotary powered cars.

The forum is not about fitting in, its about gathering and diseminating info, sharing experiences and pictures, providing help for those in need, a consortium of rx7 aficionados many of whom are passionate about their cars, an extraordinary resource.

Bottom line, from an old fart owner of an FD to a fresh turd owner of an FD, Ill forgive you for casting aspersions on the old guys on the forum as long as you own a 7. lol

-chuck

ps - get your fd running, Im anxious to see it on the road.

lol In my defense it was only a joke! You should know to never take me seriously for future reference.

I got the same "I got kids older than you" response on my last birthday from all the old farts in the bar but with a "f*** you" before it lol I love old people, especially you Chuck! haha

Yes yes I know I would LOVE to fix it, however that takes money I spent on bills during my transition to my new job =) Come summer the project should begin, but for now there isn't much money to be made!

Im just trying to keep you tough and on your toes. As you know, going can rough on the forum as there are many that will mercilessly flame you - totally unprovoked.

I have to admit that mid-life crisis isnt too bad. Got a very nice fast sports car and the money to do what I want with it. Dont worry though youll get there soon enough. That is, having money to fix yours and midlife crisis!!!

HAHA yea the money is coming, just not fast enough! What I make now goes into my pockets and my vacation next month. But I am planning on buying another car after the first of the year before I start the FD project. I'm full commission so it's hard to anticipate income and how soon I will be able to finish the project

If you are lucky, you will get a driver like I had....he made it from Tennessee to Oregon in less than 4 days. He was a machine, drove pretty much straight through. Of course they have their DOT regulations, but he said when he hit Portland, he was just going to sleep for 2 days straight and log his time that way.

I was on a camping trip and I had to leave the camp site at midnight, and drive for 2 hours back to town to pick up my car...we talked for about an hour, I drove the car for about 30 minutes, and then had to put it in the garage and head back to camp as we had a big day of fishing planned....I was a ******* wreck that day, not because I was tired, but I wanted to drive my new car.

It was at night so I am not sure if the lights where still flippers or not. Most likely was if you live right here. Where abouts exactly?? I live at madison park.

Used to have a VR R1, that got totaled like 7 months ago and I have been parting it since. I picked this up from Oklahoma a few months ago.

I live up 196th off of the highway. Do you have an FD cjk2448?

Jeez I gotta respond to this AGAIN?! It was a joke. However, I have never PERSONALLY met an FD owner over 30 who has even heard of the forum!!

Theyre not bad. Obviously not perfect like stock, but for them money I would say theyre worth it. Theyre like 50x brighter than stock, which makes it worth it right there, looks aside.

Ya, that's why I got them too, for the improved lighting, I'm going to see if I can clean up the background light assembly or make a closeout panel, try to make it more oem looking. We'll see, if it's something that can added easily I'll give you a shout to see if want to do the same.

Peace
