sonics moving?

I read that Shultz sold them to a guy in Oklahoma for 350 million?

Will you miss the sonics if they move to oklahomo?

What is your best memory of the SOnics?

I'm a basketball fan and I like the players here, but our TEAM sucks! That's why Shultz sold them, they SUCK too much to get a new arena... Not to mention the Front Office has never been any good! Face it! They're gone! Oklahoma doesn't have a team and they REALLY want one! Once they are gone then we will build a new arena and get an expansion team or some BS in a few years. It's not like anyone actually goes to the games or is willing to bare the burden of paying MORE taxes for a 3rd sports venue in the last 5 years! Everyone just boycott Starbucks and teach that greedy b*tch a lesson! lol

By the way I am with FCDrift on this one, college basketball is WAY better than NBA!

I miss Payton and Kemp. The pinnacle of the Sonics.

Alley-oop from half court from Payton to Kemp on the baseline FTW!

I went to 4 games last year. My friend is a huge fan. I talked to him last night an he literally started to tear up. I asked him why he was so upset...he said, what if they removed all the race tracks from Wa state...and I was like ohhhh... I could really care less LOL

He also compared it to losing his father...wtf? lol

Man next it will be Portland but wait..... We only have one full time team here. Man that sucks if the Sonics do move . I've seen the Blazers up there a few times but not in the last 8 years or so.

I think the sonics might be good this year, they are unstopable in NBA live 06 so I figure they have to be good next year, I think I will plan on going to the Cleveland v Sonics game to see lebron and Allen duke it out. Allen is so sick

WTF?! Our news sucks up here, they just report the same thing every night, seriously! Why would Paul Allen sell the team and not buy the Sonics?! lol Damn these Northwest people.

Howard Schultz is making $80 million off this sale!! That's insane....!
