I am an emmissions officer from oregon, and let me make is know that I will not tolorate the suggestion that you speak of. Just kidding, buy a electronic air pump, and get as much fresh air in the ehasut as possible. I have hear dthe FD guys do it before with i think Firebird air pumps.

good luck Emmissions Suck. Glad we dont have them.

the air pump for 98-00 camaro/firebird is electric. I'm sure there are other years/models that would be perfect for that application

i work as an emissions tech in seattle, i could tell you bribing us wont work..sorry dude. There are ways to getting around it, id say test your car first, if you fail its ok atleast you know where you stand in your gas readings and your 2nd test is free.

I use to give the DEQ tech a fresh loaf of sour dough and they would just wave me through the lane. Never even hooked the breadtruck up. But since they have gone to a code scanner there is no way around being tested. Hell one company I worked for would pull the plates from one truck and and run the same truck through seven or eight times with different plates to get tags for the fleet.
