Yay! I'm not alone!

I found this after I made the post: http://www.popsci.com/popsci/automot...690361,00.html

Automator with voice commands........ Very interesting idea - I can try it out as soon as I install Tiger *looks at DVD on desk...* [I work for MacShopNW - www.macshop.com Yes our website sucks -, So I got a copy early - we got our retail boxes on Monday ] -- I don't see why it wouldn't... Doesn't spoken interface let you type? [I'll check that too ^_^ ]

We should meet up sometime [*hopes to get an FC soon* - btw graycobra, I haven't heard back from you...?]

Heh, I just got bored and made a headless carputer today (headless=no display).
Can control winamp just fine because of the directx input global hotkeys, have a really small hdd in it right now, was more an experiment to see if I could. Works like a charm, kinda wish i did it earlier now lol

Fully Integrated Epia Via M10000 Unit In the Dash, the only thing that's in the trunk is the amp... with line inputs. Infinity Speakers, and Infinity Amp

Xenarc Screen, Painted Bezel, 80 Gig Laptop HDD, Netgear 100 mbps Wireless Ethernet Adaptor. Gps Mouse, Running Routis. AEM Through Serial Port, 6 USB Ports, Soundblaster Audigy (Mobile USB), DVD/CDRW Under Passenger Seat.

From the Outside it almost looks stock, when the screen is off...

Hey Phil what are you up to buddy? Did you get anywhere on you CF projects?

I recently hooked up with a guy that is into composites, and presently learning all the tricks of the trade. This guy is a pretty neat dude he used to work for Burt Rutan back in the day, and now works for a aeronautical company making pusher prop racing planes.

I havnt done anything particularly great yet but am working on trying to find a nitch in the market I can exploit.

Here's mine all installed. I opted to use a laptop and docking station for flexibility. Used a Lilliput 7" not flush mounted but next best thing to it. Also my Haltech can be tuned through it via hooking into the 4port USB2 hub I neatly installed in the ashtray.

enjoy... I sure am (no skipping, and endless music with no commercials)
