Cool Snow day in Washington State

Snow day in washington state!
This is what happens here in Washington State with only 2 to 3 inches of snow!! going to fast

Thats why, went it starter snowing on the way home, other driver were pass by me like if I was stop, then yet again I was going 15 to 25 mph on my Rx8 Gt that has high performance summer tires Bridgestone So-2 and there almost bold with no tred. I don't see why i need new one went i leave 2 miles down the street. Anyway I had a very hard time getting out of the parking lot, sense I could not get traction to go, but after I got to the main street I had a littler bit of traction on, to make it home.

I just wish other people new how to drive in this. They think that just because their car wood get up to speed fast, there be able to stop on the go

Anyway just my 2cent, please drive safe!!!

Suppose to start getting snow tonight over here on the eastern side. I love it, even worse than on your guys end, we get 300+ days of sun a year. Half the people living here are California transplants.

I took the day off, my employee worked in Seattle. Just on the way from Seattle to Renton, 5 accidents. The roads are CLEAR now. Insane. Bad enough when ppl here can't drive in the rain, toss a little snow on the ground and their driving skills disappear completely.

We got what... 2-3 inches max in some areas. Weather.com says 2-4 more coming tonight and another 1-3 tomorrow. May as well shut this town down. Lot of money to be made if you have a 4x4 and a tow strap, pulling morons out of the ditches.

So my wife almost got kill today coming home. I think she learn her lesson today, that it does not matter what kind of car you have or tire, if there is ice on the road you will lose traction and don't use the crose control, that was her mistake. she figure if she put the car at a set speed it wood be ok!!

Glad she's ok. My wife slid into a parked car couple years ago and is very cautious now. All it takes is one accident.

Sunday, here in kirkland we got 5 inches of snow, I NASCAR pit stopped our van and equipped it with studded snow tires. The van gets amazing traction now!

My point is, if you plan on driving your car in the snow, equip it properly otherwise your just annoyingly in the way of the rest of the people who have their car ready for winter. I don't really care about how you drive in the snow, having the correct tires will save you.

^ That is a lot of snow! We have quite a bit here in Bellevue, but not nearly as much.

People say that I may have brought the Midwest weather with me when I moved here in August of last year. Sorry everybody.

Got a couple inches here in Marysville, still driving to work every morning in the Mazda3, which is beast in the snow btw. I have proxie4's on it right now, I have 2 studded snow tires to put on but I'm waiting to see if it gets worse first... And I'm looking for a set of 16 inch wheels I can trade for to put them on as a winter set lol.

Yea i have been driving my 7 with studded tires on the back all week, and no real problem so far, only getting stuck while drifting around in parking lots.
My (not naming so manlaw isnt called) has been driving her mazda 3 in the snow and she hasent had a problem yet. Good cars those 3's are.
