I don't know of any full service rotary specific shop in the NW. There are rotary engine builders such as atkins, but they only build engines now last I heard.

The problem with taking it to a shop is that they will not have all the stock parts needed to do the swap. Some could probably get you a J-spec engine, but that would not include a handful of other parts needed. Your best bet is to piece together the swap yourself and have a shop swap all the parts over once you have everything.

Very, very, very true. It is going to cost, start to finish, more than a T2 is worth on the open market right now.

J-spec: $1200-1400
Rebuild: $1000-2000
other parts: $500-700 (estimate: driveshaft, ecu, wire harness, diff, halfshafts, oil, coolent, sparkplugs, ect)
Labor: $1000 maybe?

Sure you could cross your fingers and not rebuild the J-spec before putting it in...... those with knowledge would just shake our heads at that decision.

thats not to bad(a TII engine on ebay with tranny and turbo parts is like 1500). does the 1300 include a TII engine or would i have to pay more for the TII? cuz thats what im looking for. because i have people that could help me swap a motor easily. but none of them have done turbo's.

All imported motors for FC's are turbos. Only the north american market had N/A FC's. Every FC in Japan, Europe, Australia, ect was a T2.

oh. well that would be cool if you could ask for me. or just getting me a number would be sick.

and just to make sure... for a TII swap into my 86, i would need the engine, tranny, intercooler. i would need a turbo exhaust right? and would i need a new radiator?
