Turns out the car doesn't have a US title. Sadly, its just a very pretty overpriced trophy that you will never be able to drive on public roads.

That is way overpriced, especially for a car that can't be driven on the roads legally. I'll be able to start importing them at the end of 2014 and they will be for sale for about 12-15 grand depending on condition and mileage. This will also be something I import for myself as my daily driver

Please get in contact with me when it gets closer to time as I am wanting to get one as well.

Ideally I am looking for an excellent condition type-e.css 20B. I am mainly concerned about rust, and if the car has been smoked in or not, as well as general condition.

I'll let you know when I can import them, all the cars I buy have a full inspection before purchase so I only purchase clean cars that I'd want to own myself. The easiest way to get ahold of me is on Facebook. Look up driving right imports and add me

Bah-Humbug!

Hate to be Scrooge on Christmas eve, but I can't see why everyone is so excited about what seems to be a fairly ordinary looking Japanese Mustang with an orphan motor. In any case, starting next month you can import an R32 Skyline for about half what this guy is asking, and have something with equal handling and performance, maybe better, but not quite as luxurious. Or you can buy a fairly nice Lexus SC300 and pay someone to install a turbo 2JZ motor - that would be just as luxurious as the Cosmo and have comparable performance and handling, not to mention left hand drive, which is certainly safer if you plan to drive it.

As for sex appeal, I have had many discussions with my non-gearhead friends over the years about whether a car can actually be sexy. My first choice is the 1937 Teardrop Coupe, closely followed by the 1963 Bizzarini. If you want to talk about sexy cars, lets not start with something so mundane as a Cosmo.

To me it's not about here being cars available in the states that are as much of a luxury car or building it be as fast, it's about driving something unique. Everyone has different taste when it comes to cars and you can always argue that another car is just as nice for cheaper. I know I've been wanting a eunos cosmo for some time now and will be importing one over for myself. I've been driving right hand drive cars for awhile now and they are as safe on the roads.

As for being able to import skyline gtr's starting next month, that is not true if you want the car to be legal to drive on the roads.
