I have never been to seven stock but always wanted to go and put my 7 into the event. I have been working on my rx7 for atleast 3yrs now and always upgrading lol.

So we leave thursday morning and get back monday or how you guys plan to do this road trip ?

I still need to pull my engine,paint bay,re paint car,install new carpet,dash,cage,clutch,trbo oil lines, wire up my e6k and find someone to tune my haltech e6k.

I'm gonna need some lube to pull this off, but by september I may be able to drive down. gotta ask the PO also.... but I've been being good, so I don't see him saying no. Its the girlfriend that may take some convincing If that doesn't work

Yes, so we would leave Thursday morning from the Wilsonville Fry's, drive 9 hours to Sacramento spend the night, get up early Friday meet up with the Nor*Cal rotards and drive 5 hours to Irvine.

 

Definitely thinking about driving down there. I like the leave Thursday and stopping. We should get a common meeting point for everyone from Washington to meet with people from Oregon. I just need to maybe make sure I have a new battery and get a spare tire. Oh and we should try to have radios.

Yup still working at the OD. I am wondering if there is a hotel that isn't around 90 bucks a night down there. I am thinking if we left thursday and took our time and got there friday we could head back sunday?

yeah but the double tree is worth it. i dont mind it. you know tho. the double tree is well at least here 100 for a two bed room and 90 for one. and you could always split the room with somebody and have them sleep on the floor. i wish i was going with you guy.. altho i couldnt make it in my car. its time for a rebuild. or actually just finish up with my t2 swap i have everything but the engine...

 

It would be nice to stay there but kinda tough if I am on a budget to get a few things done, that is why I ask cause I would really like to go. I don't see myelf staying in my hotel room for that long so I would be fine with a little less comfort. The main thing is getting a meeting point and finding out what time everyone is leaving and coming back if we want to stick together.

 

True but for me as long as I have a place to shower and poop I don't care where I stay tho

 

Ya maybe I can see if my dad wants to go. Just found out not only does he have a nice t2 but just got a 06 rx8 which is awesome! Lets figure out how serious everyone is and what day we would want to head down there so that we could maybe meet up with people in oregon then in northern cali, etc.

The Double Tree is worth it. It's only $99 a night w/breakfast. Split it between 4-5 people and it's definitely better than a night in your car.

Plus, you get access to Saturday night pool party drunkiness and then hopefully making it back up to crash. lol
