Your would need a wheelie bar

As much as would love to see you in another built FD, that sounds like a fun car too.

Would it be half bridge also?

450rwhp would be pretty insane in a 1st gen, remember they are a good bit lighter than a 3rd gen. The motor swap could probably be done for a few thousand, getting 450rwhp I think would cost a bit more than that though, but if you can pick up a bunch of parts used for cheap. A problem I would be worrying about would be traction. I am sure you will have to do some work to the suspension/fender flairs/ etc. to keep your car under control. Not to mention rims and tires will cost you at least $1000.

Yeah the only problem that I could think of is traction. "suspension/fender flairs/ etc" would defenitaly need to be done... lol just think of all that power on stock 195's LOL...

I'd figure it'd cost more than 6k for 450rwhp...

450rwhp in a 2200lbs car would be fun

Think that could put me into the 10's?

you might have problems with the stock rear end exploding if you put too much tire behind it.

Been there, seen that ... wow... *thinks of all the things you can break when you're launching at 11K from a huge J-Bridge* lol, my dad used to race RXs that put out about 300-350 and they ALL had problems with random things exploding... not to mention the motors my mom twisted a driveshaft in her RX3 one time, it was interesting

My bro has a 85 GSL-SE with a TII. I think he went Large Street Port on it then is right now running a TO4E. He still needs to dyno tune it but will be running 350-400. It is fast. He just drove back from Nevada and got stopped in Idaho 2x for Illegal exhaust. I guess you have to have stock exhaust in Idaho??? Oh well. He has Washington plates so I don't think they cared that much.
