Sorry, haven't gotten the chance to get on in awhile. Just had to see you guys at ABF, and I missed the last Izzy's meet--busybusy.

Anyway, probably not the best section of the forum to post in, but I know a good majority of you guys.

Just wanted to ask for support and prayers (from those who do pray). My mother went into a coma yesterday morning.. on a respirator--lifeless. Hoping she wakes up soon, hoping for no brain damage from loss of oxygen. Kind of scared and very much alone at this time. I'm currently in Montana with my dad to give him support. He's worse off than I am. Anyway, it isn't usually I who is the strength giver--a new territory for me. Just asking for strength, enough that I can at the very least be a support for my dad. Thanks guys..

..Just hate being alone.

Kari, Im so so sorry about your mom
My thoughts be with your mom, you and your family. Don't lose faith, my prayers be with your mom. Your never alone Kari you have all of us if you need us. If you need someone to talk to Im willing to lend an ear.

 

Hang in there and be strong!! I can't imagine how your feeling right now, but you gotta be the anchor in the family. I hope everything turns out for the better. My prayers go out to you and your family.

 

Being there for your parents is important. Giving and receiving love with them will get everyone through this and help make it better.

Pathway of Pain

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I hope she makes a full recovery. Sorry, I'm not very religious but you have my support and I'm sure (from the looks of it) you have support from the other rotards here.
