rx7 Bonney lake

Hi my name is Colby I'm wondering if there is anyone in the Bonney lake area that knows the fc turbo. I have done a s5 turbo swap into a s4 rx7 and it runs crazy rich. I'm just looking for advice or help. I can pay or buy beers

I replaced the entire car and engine bay harness to the s5

What ECU are you using? It should be the US Spec s5 turbo ECU "N370" and you should be using a US spec s5 turbo harness.

I have a 370 Ecu the numbers are faded but I'm pretty sure it says 370. I also have a pressure sensor on passengers strut tower says N350. I'm not sure if my harness is U S or not is there a way to tell?

well theres one imidiate problem right there you need the n370 pressure sensor, the na one is n350 and its completely different, you are probably getting a fuel cut on 1 rotor whenever you get close to positive manifold pressure(boost).

the n350 has a 0-5 volt range between -14 and 0 psi,
where as the n370 0-5v range is from -14 to +14 psi. roughly

leads to additional questions? are u using a t2 or aftermarket fuel pump?
what afm are you using?
what injectors?
are you running an fcd?

I have a n370 afm. Stock turbo injectors.
I'm going to guess a stock s4 pump but I do have a walbro 255. No on the fcd (fuel cut defender) . Once I turn the car on it starts to burn your eyes. It also pulses at idle

try unplugging the 4 prong connector to the pressure sensor before starting the car, does it run any better?(I believe it will failsafe default to 4 psi) you could try driving the car around the block like this, with light to mid throttle,

but I wouldn't recommend going w0t and wrapping out the gears in full boost, as this could cause unsafely advanced timing!!

though Im not sure if this incorrect sensor would cuase problems at idle, it would make it act strangely driving around

you needt o make sure it at least have a turbo fuel pump, as the na pump cant keep up with the turbo injectors

So does it smell like unburnt fuel out the exhaust or do you have some kind of fuel leak. Did you swap the engine in? Where did you get the parts? Can you explain why you don't for sure what some of the parts are?

The car was a modified na s4 when I bought it. I blew the engine and got a s5 turbo motor from a friend. I also bought a s5 turbo from foreign engines that was blown for the transmission, turbo, and injectors. I then found someone scrapping there s5 and strip that car of all wires for use in the swap. I'm unsure about the pump because I never changed it but I have put a 255 in and there was no change. The smell is from the exhaust. I cant see any fuel leaking from the rails. The motor also is missing all the eco components.

If you have a stock N/A ecu and turbo injectors you would be running super rich. Any pictures of the ECU you have hooked up?

Also, you need the turbo N370 pressure sensor. Get that to eliminate it as a possible problem.

Thank you all for the help. But my car doesn't seem to be wired for a code reading. Check engine light didn't flash. So I'm just going to try and find a n370 pressure sensor to see where that gets me.
