The annual www.RPNW.org Picnic and Drive will be on Saturday August 12. The
picnic at Beacon Rock will be bring your own lunch (food, drinks,
etc.), the same as last year. There are plenty of tables but you
might want to consider bringing your own chairs.

We will meet for the drive at 10:00 am at the Texaco station at Exit
16 off I-5 North in Washington. This is the LaCenter exit. The
Texaco station is to your right after you exit the freeway. If you
don't have enough gas for a 100+ mile drive you might consider
getting gas here.

The route instructions for the drive will be distributed at the
meeting place. A pen and clipboard for the passenger/navigator may
be useful because they will be answering questions along the route.

The picnic will be at Beacon Rock State Park in the same area as
previous years. The entrance to the site should be marked as
reserve d for RPNW. The $5 parking fee is no longer in effect at
State Parks.

If you will be attending please let me know so we can get an
approximate head count.
