Looking for some RX7 owners here in Seattle, for the most part I never see them around Seattle but hope there are a few hidden rotary lovers here. Does anyone know of any meet ups? Is there any interest in starting a monthly meet up?
I would be interested, i live in Marysville though but Seattle isn't that far for me. By the way, I just joined Facebook can someone tell me how do I find car meets?
Hey I'm in Kirkland with an '81 rx7. I'm currently rebuilding my 12a but I'd still be down for a meet up. I've been on the rotary groups on Facebook and they seem pretty dead.
Here's what I've learned about meets. I ran Seattle Cars & Coffee for the past couple of years and it went from a couple of hundred members to almost 3000 at one point. Weekly meetings are too often. What I did was coordinate a drive once a month. I would mix it up and do drives down south and up north. Shorter drives around the Sammamish River valley would get the most showing. It's also in the middle for those that live up north and those that live down south. Mt. Rainer drive is also popular. Adding a hiking trip or something like that would also bring out people too, so it's not just about the drive. I can help spear head this if you guys want me to.
Here are some of the videos that I made on our drives and meets.
Just FYI, There is a weekly meet that already happens with local Mazda enthusiasts at MTL.

I'll definitely show up one of these Fridays if the weather is nice. I was more talking about the drives if anyone is interested in doing something like that. I can help coordinate those.
