I worked with a guy named Len Williams at Boeing years ago who had been an engineer with the turbine division back in the 1950s, and he built a 1932 Ford with one of these engines. Cessna built an L-19 with one of these, which was tested by the army. After the testing was complete, Len put the engine in his car, which is now in the Lemay museum.

Kenworth also tested one or more of these in a highway truck. Production engines were used in various Kaman helicopters and in a Swedish army tank.

It would be a great buy for a jet engine mechanic.
