Looking for Rotary Aviation rebuild video near Salem
I was wondering if anyone near Salem, OR has it and is willing to loan it to me or sell it cheap so I can rip it to my laptop for use in my rebuild this weekend. I don't want to buy it because if I'm paying 30 bux I'd atleast want it in a format I can use. No shop tv for me, just a laptop.
If someone has the dvd I'd be willing to buy it off them for the 30$ it's being sold for by RA. (RA's not selling it right now for some reason)

I just ordered the 2nd gen r&r video and the old 13b video, the vids are just over $30 shipped each. VHS though, but I have video capture on my PC so I plan on hooking up my vcr, capturing, and making a DVD to make my life easier when using the videos. Of course I will be doing this for "personal" use only due to legal reasons. From what I have read on the forums, and heard from those that have seen the videos or used them they are worth the purchase price. If you wanted to make a dvd for yourself I would recommend purchasing a cheap video capture card off of pricewatch.com and doing some research into how oyu could make "your" own dvd of the the vhs "you" purchase.

thanks for the advice, I already know how to do that. I don't have a dvd burner though and they are quite expensive. I guess I can just order the video and rip it to a VCD or something. The other problem was that I'm pulling my engine tomorow and planning to start work at the latest on saturday so getting the video quickly was my other reason.

do a search on pricewatch.com for dvd-burners. You can pick them up for under $75 even for a decent one. they are worth the price, mine cost $190 when I bought it and I haven't regretted it.
