Saturday January 15 in Salem, Oregon we will be having another get together at Northwest Auto.

Swap meet in the parking lot, so bring a table if you want to sell parts.

The shop is at 1164 Madison in Salem, Oregon 97303. Around the back of the building, on the south side.

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1164+M...ed=0CBMQ8gEwAA

From Portland:

Take I5 exit 258 (stay in the right lane to turn right) toward N Salem/Fairgrounds/Amphitheatre.

Turn right at Portland Rd NE.

Go about two miles and turn left at Sunnyview Rd NE (by Walgreens and the Post Office).

Take the 1st right onto McCoy Ave NE and go to the stop sign, about three blocks.

Turn left on Madison street and go half a block to the parking lot on the right; BEFORE crossing the railroad tracks.

Turn right into the parking lot of a large two story masonry building.

Shop is in the back of the building.

From Eugene:

Take the Market Street exit and go west to 17th street.

Turn right (noth) on 17th Street and go to Madison Street (a four way stop sign).

Turn left (west) on Madison and go over the railroad track.

Turn left (south) into the parking lot immediatly after the railroad tracks.

In the spirit of good tidings...

If you wish to help those less fortunate, this is an opportunity.

Those of us that can, are bringing warm, clean clothes or boxed/canned food to donate to the homeless.

Northwest Auto shares its Madison Street building with non-profit organizations. One offers the homeless a place to shower and do laundry. They also provide bag lunches on occasions when they have provisions. Warm clothes are needed, as well as blankets, sleeping bags, tents and other basic need goods like soap or toothpaste.

So bring what you can share but please do not feel it is required in order to attend.

Peace

There is no charge for a sales spot. Your buddy is welcome too.

Any money I receive from the sale of parts is going to be donated to a charity that my 82 year old friend and landlord funds.

If you have a spot in your heart for orphans, then here is another opportunity to help. My friend supports an orphanage in Cambodia. These children have nothing. Think about it a moment; no home, no mom, no dad, no food. A few dollars can go a long way to feed these children. 100% of any donation goes to the orphans and it is a legitimate taxable deduction. Donations can be made out to New Life Ministries.

Peace.

was good times, nice to meet some semi-local rotary owners. forgot that i had my camera with me, so i only have a few pics from the drive over to rw-7's to do some parts selling/buying. wish a few more members had shown up, think you'd all be used to the rain by now lol.

Rotards V ... or 6 or 7?

We had Rotards V a year ago; we had the second Rotards V earlier this year and Sunday we'll have ... Rotards V. Rotarded or what?

See you there.
