RIms/tires Question

Ok, so I drive an 87 Sport. I'm looking to upgrade my rims and tires. My sister has a 2005 Mazda 3 qand is getting rid of her stock rims and tires. I like the way they look and wouldn't mind picking them up for my car. The probelm is I haven't a clue what size they are other than 17 inches and a 5 lug setting. I can find all the info on what my stock tires and rim settings are from the factory, but I can't find any on her car. Her owner's manual doesn't list it as far as I can tell, and I just wanted to know if I would need spacers or anything. I would ask the Mazda 3 club, but I'm not a member, and work internet won't let me sign up for some reason. Didn't see anything in a forum search either. Any info or help would be great.

Thanks guys

just pull a wheel off and try it on!
put it on the front tho. if the front fits, the backwill fit.
mount the wheel (tighten lug nuts..) then turn the wheel all the way to one side and make sure its not touching your struts.

i already thought of that, sadly she's in Chicago till the end of July for business, so I don't have access to her car. I was going to do that when she got back though, just doing osme research on them before hand.

All from the comfort of your computer:

Go to tirerack.com.. punch in her stats.. see what bolt patten and offset it recommends ... then punch in yours.. see if they are close..

OR... buy my Mr7s.... ?

Alreedy did that Tire rack didn't give me **** for offsets sadly.
I do like those rims always have, specially in black.
What size, what are they shod in and how much?

a quick search shows that mazda 3 stock wheels have an offset of +52.5.
this means the wheel fitment is FD friendly (why would anyone do that..) but not FC. sorry, they arent gonna fit.

a +52 mm will fit on an FC but you would need a spacer

i am running 17x8 +47 rims on my fc using 1" spacers that have studs built into them.

stock offset is a 16x7 with a +40 so depending on if the mazda3 rims are 7 or 8" wide u would need a spacer of 1/2" or a 1" to maintain stock clearence.

this assumes they are both 5x114.3 bolt pattern. im not sure if u allready determined that...

They are actually a gunmetal flavor... 17X7... looked great on my FC pre-widebody.. The have kumho excta stp 215/45 tires.. probably abot 60% or more life.. plenty of grip left! Pm me an offer..

Oh.. and also, they have the obligatory curb rash here and there.. but they are very strong and straight.
