Wow poor FD!! And Silverstone Metallic too, the most rare! I'm gonna say someone probably died in that FD... That's based on how the car looks

Amen, keep it on the track. I hear about this about
once a week from my dad when he's on patrols about
some dipshit laying into his gas and clipping a tree or
worse.

$hit happens. As long as the Gov't keeps handing out drivers licenses to f'ing morons that can't drive, stuff like this and worse will happen. I love how most forum users rip on people for racing on the streets. I understand this is a problem with younger inexperienced drivers, but for safe experienced drivers a little spirited driving on the back roads shouldn't be shunned upon.

I have a problem with the drivers that can't drive. That kill people while driving and talking on the phone, or putting on make-up, or eating a f'ing meal or reading a book/newspaper. And then there's the old people that accidently push the gas instead of the brake and run a crowd of people over! Oh, then there's the a'holes who think racing up two cars in a f'ing merge lane will get them to work/home that much faster all while putting the people around them in danger because of their careless/reckless driving.

So, I think the keep it on the track comments are good for the racing types, you know ***** to the walls type that push their automobile to the limits and seldomly break those limies, something that should never be attempted on public streets/roads.

I'm seeking drivers license reform. Take the licenses from people that can't drive and have a real driving test. Maybe one with cones and little cardboard kids and dogs that jump out. If you hit anything you fail.

People shouldn't need a reality check, this stuff is on the news and in the papers all the time. As well as almost everyone knows someone who's been in an auto accident.

I agree: DONT BE A JACKASS WHILE DRIVING ON PUBLIC STREETS OR ROADS!!!

a friend and i came to the conclusion that everyone should have to take a separate test to be able to drive on the freeway. i think that would reduce these kinds of accidents exponentially.

As long as there are cars ther are going to be people who kill and are killed by bad, reckless or drunk drivers. I know, My cousin was one who died in a drunk driving accident days before he turned 20. About 80% of the people I know started drinking before they turned 21. I still think that people who are over 21 should not provide alchol for those who are under 21. But if you are going to do that try to make sure that it is done in a safe environment (and remember it is illeagal so I don't reckomend it). And as far as taking away a person's licesne that wont stop some people they still go out and drive, I think that not only the license but the car should be taken away if you lose your licesne because of one of these things. Speeding and bad driving habits are very hard to get rid of. I still speed from time to time and It gets worse when I am around other people. For instance the Taco 7 meet. I drove recklessly and I appologize to the people I endangered. The last thing that I have to say is for the people who don't have much confidence in driving or the people (like me) who are over confident in there driving I recomend taking advanced defensive driving clases. Another Cousin of mine was very nervous any time she drove, She took a class similar to the "street survival" class offered at Pacific Raceways and she said that it really built her confidence as a driver and it helps her to keep aware.

My opinion and storys stated I hope I did not offened anyone.

Thanks!!

-Chris

Blueshift, nice input. I was definitely surprised on the drive up because like i said at del taco, you took off and i didnt even see how you made it through there lol

as for drinkin, i stay away from it most of the time and thus am dubbed the designated driver for the little teenage kids that feel the need to get wasted lol

I saw that wreck happen

Saturday I went on a cruise to Levenworth with a bunch of stuck up euro owners. On highway 2 we got stuck in gridlock with about 300 cars back up. Anyway, once the traffic started moving and we got closer I was so surprized to see that an rx7 caused it and not one of the 100's of ******* euro drivers. Not sure on the details but I'm curious to see how the **** that guy pulled that off on a completely flat straight section of road.

Was there injury's ? Saw 3 ambulance leave the scene lights flashing.

Really, Are we sure that the rex wasn't the innocent one? And the honder guy was the jackass? Or merely that the RX was avoiding a 'Jackass' and had no other solution but to put it in the ditch?

Drive safe!

Pretty sad chain of events. I was reading through the leavenworth thread on bimmerforums, It sounds like the rx7 was not even part of the drive. Also 4 vw's were involved in crashes.

holy crap from VW Vortex

Quote:
RX7 tries passing someone, speeds up to about 60 but doesnt get around the car in front of him so he gets in a head on collision with a civic hatch. The passenger side of the civic is completely smashed in. Bad thing though is there was a passenger in the civic. That guy died. RX7 then ends up in the ditch, hella ****ed

I'm thinking the right front of the FC is probably effed up and not shown in the photo based on the VWvortex account of the events...
