As far as "lol" and "omg" those aren't actually slang words at all. It is called an acronym, which the definition of that is essentially a string of words combined together to form a shorted word.

NASA
CIA
FBI

etc etc etc...

So, when in reality most people on here in daily "typing" terms do not use slang at all.
