Portland Auto Show?

Is this an event worth attending? I keep seeing commercials for it. The website doesn't show much at all.

The Oregon Convention center filled with new cars. That's about all there is to it. I think it's pretty cool to see..

Also I'm told you can get a good deal on a new car if you're in the market

You get to see some oem prototype vehicles, but usually their one year old displays. It's alright, nothing to gush about.

agreed, it's alright. it's mostly like walking through a bunch of car dealerships under one roof. except you'll occasionally see a concept car. in my opinion it's nothing worth looking forward to but it's not a bad way to waste some time if your already in ptown.

They're showing clips of the auto show on the news right now and I think I saw a yellow FD in the background.

I am going to go tomorrow to check out the Mazda2. I will shoot some pictures of the FD if there is one there.

Not much interests me beyond 2002...

Maybe I'm dating myself, but I like cars from the 90's & earlier...

I go because once in a while there's something cool [ex: last year's GT-R, 370z, 2009 RX-8]

This year was pretty sad.. Nissan didn't even show up [Infiniti did though]

The only yellow vehicle was Jojo's Supra.

Anyone else get a can of the Mazda 2 energy drink?
