PORTLAND anyone with an fd?

Anyone in portland with an FD that knows how to do an ls1 swap and wants to make a little cash? Ive never done it before and dont know how to, so Im looking to hire someone to do it in my garage and have me help them do it! PM me or post a comment

I have one and have done another, that being said and done. I can't help as I travel. I would suggest you do it yourself and learn what it takes to do it. If you come into a problem it is going to be better for you knowing what is done to the car. Use that money you would use to pay somebody and get parts for the car. Look over at norotors and there is your treasure trove of information.

Only suggestions i can say, is go samberg/ronin kit. Get at least a t2 diff. Rewire the car completely i.e. leash street/strip board.

These kind of swaps usually end up taking a very long time. If you don't know what you are doing, use it as a learning experience or pay someone to do it for you. Asking for someone to help you is like asking for someone to help build a house for you... its a big project.
