please help

well i finally got all my stuff swaped into my new shell... we went to started it today and it idled like it was crazy ported then shut off tried again it reved to 5 grand then shut off tried again and it did the same thing then back fired then couldnt try anymore becuase the battery died=(, is there anyone in the tacoma area that could come take a look at it or help at with it, i could put a little bit of gas in your car or something, i just really need this car running.

high revving could be a) stuck throttle cable b) improper TB mod c) very very small chance of idle screw set wrong. I don't think the idle screw could make it rev that high, so I'm guessing TB mod, as the butterflies will stick if done incorrectly. About the bad initial idle, have you checked for boost/vac leaks with a compressor? GL!

sooo Dr. ifter helped me out alot alot thank you very much, but now when i turn my car off then try to turn it back on it will need a jump=( when my motor and everything were in my other car i never had that problem, any help would be very thankful i dont want to have to get a jump at the meet when its time to leave haha or if we go on a cruise or anything =P
