Passenger handle removal

Yo guys, new to the forum. I just bought my 87 gxl. It has a couple of problems:

1. You can't open the passenger door from the outside.
2. The lock cylinder on the driver side doesn't lock.
3. Of course, the windshield wipers only work on low

Well, the real reason I'm writing this, is because I can' remove the passenger handle. I got the visible nut off, but I can't see/get to the other one. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Also, My window doesn't roll down. I don't know why. The switch on the passenger side is totally broken and the driver side can't control it (bring it down or up). If you know of anything, then please let me know.

Thanks

The only way to get the handle off is to roll down the window. Check the switch to see if that maybe why it wont roll down. also check the fuses. also check to make sure that the wires are in good shape and that the windows are even plugged in. hope this helps and good luck.......

you might have to hot wire the window if the switches are both messed up. basically unplug the connector to the power window motor, and put 2 wires into it (1 ground, 1 12v).

Right on. Well I have some awesome news. The motor for the pass window is burnt out. So I need a new motor and can't do sheit until I get one. Oh, and I also need a the cylinder that the key goes into on the door to lock/unlock from the outside from the driver side.
